I may be letting the cat out of the bag, but this is too good to share. I've wonder where to get O scale sized chain. I am planning on using some to chain down the steam loco' cab on our Ford BB model. At the model train show in September, I asked the On30 crew where i could find chain.
Needless to say I got a earful of information about the large craft stores. They told me where and what chain size to look for as well as another gadget.
I have seen a fair amount of corrugated siding on several model builders layouts. I never really gave it a great deal of thought. One member showed me a crimping tool used by scrap-bookers to make fancy photo edges or something like that. I was blown away how simple it was and what the end result looked like.
The next day I clipped the local paper coupon for a hefty discount on one item and went to the nearest craft store. I am now the proud owner of a pair of paper crimpers!
