BB_BASH_IS _DONE

After a great deal of fussing and messing round, I finally committed to finishing the Ford BB bash.

The goal was to use this truck as presentation piece for the Maine On30 or On2 Group at their shows. I'm happy to say it came out pretty good considering this one a few models I have committed to saying it's done.

I used a wide variety of household and craft hobby materials to make the truck come together. Ernie Tarbox built the steam cab and pallet. The flat bed was made of styrene and coffee stirrers I lifted from college many years ago. I used a mix of old stains and some rust paint to make it seem a little dirty and aged.

The chains presented the toughest challenge. I still have some figuring to do to make them tighten up. Anyway, I'm happy and can't wait to show this off at the Maine Narrow Gauge show coming in a less than a week.
